As we begin the final week of marching season it will be a very busy week. Between rehearsals, a football game, a candlelight event for the band and the OBA contest this weekend it is a really good thing that we got plenty of rest over this past weekend. Based on rehearsal last week, the band is still improving every day and the show is getting better and better with every tweak. The band should be firing on all cylinders for the event on Saturday and it looks like it's going to be a chamber of commerce day in Broken Arrow on Saturday.

Here Come the Clarinets

Between performances at the Putnam City
Contest we went around to all the sections and
got some really good pictures of each group. Here are the clarinets with the Seniors in front.

Putnam City Marching Classic

The Putnam City Marching Classic was held on the 27th of September and was the first test of the Bulldog Marching Band.

Sharla and Drew were chaperones on one of the busses carrying the kids back and forth to the contest on the West-side of Oklahoma City. We really enjoyed our day (from 8:45 am to 12:30 am) with the kids and other parents/boosters. Luckily we were busy much of the day. Taking care of the band is an event and the kids really seemed to appreciate the support.

Here is the video from the preliminary round... See if you can find AJ, he has some pretty exciting steps during the routine.

The kids did a marvelous job finishing 2nd after the preliminary round and finishing 5th in the finals Saturday night. It was a really long day and still quite warm the kids did quite a remarkable job.
